Your data and your students' data are safe with SchoolTrack.
Cloud storage on Firebase — Your school data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. A working copy is cached in your browser for speed. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and where.
Authenticated access — Every login (admin, teacher, parent) is a real Firebase Authentication account. Server-side security rules scope teachers to their assigned classes, give parents read-only access limited to their children's classes, and reject unauthenticated requests outright.
No tracking — SchoolTrack uses no analytics, no advertising scripts, and no third parties beyond Firebase hosting (and EmailJS only if you enable email sending yourself).
Your control — Export your data any time. Delete it any time from Settings → Reset All Data, which clears both your device and your Firebase records.
Responsible use — As the school administrator, you are responsible for handling student data appropriately under your local privacy laws (FERPA, COPPA, GDPR). Before onboarding a real school, we recommend a legal review — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Password security — Passwords live only in Firebase Authentication, never in school records. Nobody — including the school admin — can view a stored password; changes happen only via secure reset emails.
